When I was at home in Hawaii, I would make sushi when I wanted something easy, or fun, or calming. Today was one of those days, since I spent most of the day catching up on some photos and some food blogging (look, I'm all caught up!)
Yoshi, Chris, Amanda, Daniel and I tucked in an entire six rolls of tuna-cucumber-carrot-green onion-lettuce sushi and miso soup... and then made a sizable dent in
the root beer cake from a few days ago.


I made Chris a seaweed-less sushi, since she loves the fillings but doesn't like the nori. 'Sokay, since the bowl turned out gorgeous.
